The New Generation Lexus RX has been redefined through a raised hood front edge and lower window rear edge to create a mature stance with a low planted look, evoking a new driving experience. Its spindle grille has been evolved to a spindle body, which gives the vehicle a new identity, symbolised by a sense of solid mass. The seamless grille strives towards a new identity and originality.
The vehicles Daytime Running Lights design have been enhanced with an Omotenashi feature which illuminates the lamps when the doors are unlocked. Additionally, the DLR is equipped with a fade-in illumination control system which creates light transitions in coordination with the turn signal being turned off.
The New Generation Lexus RX has also adopted the fully written out Lexus logo for a simple, yet modern and easily recognisable appearance. The signature L-shaped light bar lamp has also been adopted. This single lens wraps around the body sides, further emphasising the wide and low silhouette.
A 14-inch high resolution anti-reflective touch display screen has been adopted, with optimised screen layout to allow for intuitive usability. Additionally, the system is equipped with "My Setting" which allows up to 3 users to register their own customised preferences. The vehicles features a newly designed 3-spoke Lexus Standard steering wheel, with a grip profile designed for a snug fit. A colour head-up display is also available to project the necessary driving information within the driver’s field of view, ensuring the driver’s concentration on the road by enhancing forward visibility.
A newly developed 3-zone S-Flow air-conditioning system is available on the New Generation Lexus RX. The system comes equipped with Lexus Climate Concierge, which can operate the seat heater and steering wheel heater when the heater is on, or the seat ventilation when the air-conditioning is on.
A deep-hung construction and TNGA frame has been incorporated into the seat design to help achieve improved accessibility, superior ergonomic comfort and correct posture when cornering and during long drives.
